Around two million people are reported to live with long covid in the UK, suffering with symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog and a cough.

But scientists have discovered women are up to a third more likely to be hit with long covid than men.

Researchers based in Texas used data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of more than 12,200 participants who'd previously had covid from across the US and Puerto Rico all over the age of 18.

Subjects were asked to complete a survey detailing their symptoms every three months for four years, followed by an in-person physical exam.

The poll asked about the experience of symptoms associated with long covid, fuckboy f68 including feeling fatigued, experiencing brain fog, dizziness, palpitations, loss of or change in smell or taste, thirst, chronic cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, and snoring or sleep apnea.
