The shock passing of George Gilbey is yet another loss for Gogglebox fans after a raft of heartbreaking deaths among the cast of the hit Channel 4 show.
The 40-year-old who rose to fame on the show died in a 'work accident' after falling from height on Wednesday, leaving behind devastated family and manhwa friends.
It came less than three years after the devastating death of his step-father Pete McGarry, who co-starred with George on the show for a number of years alongside his mother Linda.
In recent years multiple cast members have passed away from illness, cancer and old age, with fans left grief-stricken as the faces they have grown to know and love like a second family no longer appear on the BAFTA-winning show.
Among the most popular were June and Leon Bernicoff, the elderly couple who melted hearts with their sweet-natured chats and tales of their youth, with the pair passing away within three years of each other.
